The Bridge of Sight is one of the most famous opera of Venice, it is mostly remembered for the magic and romantic moment when lovers passing by on a gondola to tell the truth the bridge was made for way different purpose.
The Malibran Theatre was built by Grimani brothers from Santa Maria Formosa at the end of 1677 the works took only 4 month and it was erected in place of the old house of Marco Polo.

The building was subject of criticism mainly for the positions (in saint Mark’s area, campo San Fantin) and for its Neoclassic style.

The Accademia Museum is part of a complex including the church of Santa Maria della Carità, the homonymous Scuola Grande (the original entrance is now the main access to the museum) and the Monastery of the Canonici Lateranensi (the complex was in use until the beginning of the XIX century).
