Water is the key element in the personal and artistic path of Fabrizio Plessi. Since ever a metaphor of catharsis and rebirth, it is also the element that establishes Venice, a city where the artist, born in Reggio Emilia in 1940, studied and formed.

Until 20th September, in conjunction with the 56th Venice Biennale and with Milan Expo 2015 the Gallerie dell'Accademia pays tribute to the work of Mario Merz, one of the most important figures of the international art scene of the late twentieth century.

From 09 May 2015 by ” Tre Oci House”, a beautiful testimoniance of Venetian architecture from early ' 900 in  the island of Giudecca, will host “ Future Histories-ArsenyZhilyaev & Mark Dion” , curated by Magnus Af Petersens and proudly presented by V-A-CFoundation.

Amongst the oldest Venetian anniversary  the “Festa della Sensa”  (Sunday, May 17, 2015) celebrates the historic "Sposalizio del mare" (wedding with the sea), in memory of the victory by vessels of the Serenissima Republic, headed by the doge Pietro Orseolo II in the year 1000,  rushed to the help of  Dalmatian population against the invasion of the Slavs.
