During this tour you will walk through the narrow streets, your local tour guide will avoid the crowds on purpose to help you discover the real hidden Venice. You will walk towards the hospital area, through the narrowest street in Venice and also an unique bookshop called “high tide” where you will see thousands of old and new books displayed on old gondolas, bathtubs and wheelbarrows! After that you will also visit the bustling Rialto fish market (only mornings from Tuesday to Saturday). Then the church of San Pantalon, where you can admire the world's largest oil on canvas, painted over 25 years of work! You'll also admire Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, a small palace known for its stunning external spiral staircase, an authentic hidden jewel!
LAND & WATER TOUR
This is the perfect tour because you will enjoy Venice from the water and from the land with a combination of history, art, and daily life! The guide will meet you at the hotel and you will start the walking tour towards Rialto where you will enjoy the amazing view from the panoramic terrace of Fontego dei Tedeschi, then towards the hospital area to visit the unique bookshop “Acqua Alta” with thousands of books in bathtubs and gondolas. Then in St. Mark’s square where the guide will explain to you the main monuments from outside! At the end you will take a private water taxi all over the Grand Canal and through hidden canals too, the guide will explain to you the history of the palaces and the architectures
ANTONIA SAUTTER'S ATELIER
Visit to the Atelier of Antonia Sautter, creator and creative director of the Ballo del Doge (the most famous event of the Venetian carnival), who for thirty years has made "handmade in Venice" her mission as an artisan artist of luxury.
There is the possibility to wear his creations with dedicated staff for the costume fitting, inside the atelier. You can add a walk to San Marco wearing Venetian clothes, a photo shoot inside the atelier and during the walk. An unforgettable experience.
DOGE'S PALACE IN EXCLUSIVE
Exclusive visit to the Doge's Palace, with private guide. Symbolic place of Venice, which was the seat of the Doge and the state magistracies; the highest representation of Venetian civilization.
We usually organize the experience with access to Palazzo Ducale at 6.30 or 6.40 pm.
Meeting with the guide at the hotel, boat transfer, walk to San Marco and visit to the Doge's Palace together with the guide. Tour duration: 2 hours.
