Ca 'Pesaro, which is known to be always attentive to Venetian cultural production, will host from 8th December 2009 to 17 January 2010 a collective of artists belonging to the Association Artists SPA + A (Society for Artists + Friends), created to promote the activity of artists who live and work in Venice.
The 8th december in the basilica of Santi Giovanni e Paolo, one of the most
imposing religious buildings of Venice, will take place the Great Concert for the Immaculate Conception feast, with the Cantores of the Chapel of the Basilica of St. Mark.
From December 19th 2009 to April 11th 2010 at Correr Museum you can discover the wonderful collection of nineteenth century drawings - most of which are on display for the very first time – of Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia. The collection is one of the biggest on the graphic scene of that century and includes works by Caffi, Pividor, Guardi, Moro, Bosa, Vervloet ecc.
Until June 2010 Palazzo Da Mula in Murano will be open to the public with exhibitions, photo displays, theatre, music events and conferences about the history, culture and glass artwork artists of Murano island.
Love 2010, the new Venetian way of celebrating New Year, returns in Venice with live music, animation and the midnight's communal kiss. Conductors of the event will be Doug Jack e Jessica Polsky. Don't miss it, on the 31st of December in Saint Mark's Square.
Until the 6th June 2010, Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana will host the exhibition Mapping the Studio: Artists from the François Pinault Collection, showing a selection of Pinault’s contemporary art collection.
