Venice Vintage Toys:the toys of the 60s-80s on display in Venice

On 11 February 2020 in Venice a new museum opened with a permanent exhibition entitled “Venice Vintage Toys” curated by the cultural association Creature di Gomma. An exhibition dedicated to the world of collecting, comics and cartoons. A dip in the past where you can admire a huge collection of toys from the 60s to the 80s, collected over the decades by the Venetian Fabrizio Fontanella. The initiative is also supported through meetings with important authors of comics, workshops and events.Fabrizio fontanella has been cultivating his hobby for more than 25 years and has started exchanging items in the markets of the used’, reinvesting his earnings in his passion and creating an exhibition of about 5000 unique pieces. Venice Vintage Toys is located in Venice S.Polo 2390/A, in an old industrial typography (Venetian typography) redesigned and restored, a few steps from Venice Santa Lucia Railway Station and Piazzale Roma and a 5-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge.

Open every day : 10 AM -07 PM

Tickets: The membership card (cost 5€/year) allows unlimited admission for a whole calendar year.
