Haris Epaminonda at "Fondazione Querini Stampalia"

In recent years Epaminonda has established like one of the most important artist of her generation in international scenery. She rapresented Cyprus at “Biennale d’Arte 2012” in Venice, which was followed by partecipation at “Documenta” and at exhibitions in important museums, like Tate Modern of London, MoMA-Museum of Modern Art of New York or Schirn Kunsthalle of Frankfurt.

The venetian exposure, curated by Chiara Bertola with Andrea Viliani and set in “Carlo Scarpa” area, dialogues with the exhibition space. A thin interlocking with its volumes, the overlap among various decorative details and different architectural solutions, the evocation of a time suspended between past and future, become part of the experience of the artist’s film creating a proper continuum between the experience of artwork and the experience of the museum.
