The Ca’ d’Oro Galleries exhibite the preparatory sketch by Andrea Brustolon wooden altarpiece for the Church of San Pietro in Belluno depicting the death of St. Francesco Saverio, accompanied by a significant selection of "artist's proofs" Venetian masterpieces preparatory realized by the same sculptor. These include the terracruda models for the famous moorish Flowerpot holders, currently preserved at Museo del Settecento at Ca ' Rezzonico.
