The Arzanà
In order to avoid losing the most important part of the history and tradition of Venice, the Association Arzanà, in Venetian dialect which means Arsenal, bought the old squero "Casal dei Servi” in Cannaregio, Calle delle Pignate, and achieved a" living museum ", inside a unique collection which includes some 40 vintage boats including the latest" peata ", traditional cargo boat of Venice. One of the highlights of the collection is the "gondolin da fresco", the only one in the world in an excellent state of preservation. This type of gondola was used for the "walk" on water in summer. An appointment not to be missed to get to know the city a little better and its peculiarity since ancient times!
The Association organizes didactic courses for adults and teenagers that are held only by appointment on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays.
