The 4th edition of the Venice Air Expo will take place from the 23 to the 25 of September at the Nicelli's Airport in Lido di Venezia.

OPEN, the International Exhibition of Sculptures and Installations, now reaching its fourteenth exhibition, which will be held from 1st September to 2nd October at Venice Lido and on the San Servolo Island, at the same time as the 68th Venice Film Festival.

From 1st to 30th September 2011, the Marciana National Library organizes in his Sale Monumentali a solo exhibition of the artist Liselotte Höhs whose title is “animal magnetism”.
Liselotte Höhs, Viennese by birth but Venetian by vocation, whose life and work are deeply intertwined with this amphibious city, will present her new creations, textile mosaics.

To mark the 25th anniversary of the death of celebrated Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges, Giorgio Cini Foundation will officially open will present in Venice, one of the Argentinean writer’s favourite cities, the Borges Labyrinth, a reconstruction of the maze that architect Randoll Coate designed in the writer’s honour in the 80ies.

 For the first time, precious originals by Ferdinando Ongania, the most important Venetian publisher of the last two centuries, are exhibited in the Saint Mark's Museum (above the lobby of the famous Basilica) in an exhibition dedicated to him on the occasion of the centenatìry of his death. 


The Art of Being Contemporary foundation in collaboration with Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, presents a major exhibition of Russian contemporary art entitled Modernikon, curated by Francesco Bonami and Irene Calderoni.
