In the heart of the Serenissima's power, in the Sala dello Scrutinio at Palazzo Ducale, the exhibition recreates the Venetian militar systems, made of forts and fortresses in the most strategic and sensible places along the Venetian commerce routes.

When spring comes, like every year, the FAI, Fondo Ambiente Italiano, opens for free the doors of the places under its own tutelage and of other places that are usually closed to the public. The days of this 21st edition are scheduled for Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th of March.

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of the sculptor Augusto Murer from Belluno land, Palazzo Ferro Fini, site of the Regional Council of Veneto, opens its doors to the public and welcomes the show entitled "Augusto Murer, my life is in the tree”.

Back the long-awaited appointment that welcomes the beginning of each new year: the Carnival of Venice! This year's theme is "Live in Colour"!

 On Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th of January takes place the first act of the Venice Carnival 2013 with the Venetian Feast on water, the feast of all the Venetians dedicated to the citizens as well as to the guests of the city.

At Teatro La Fenice are continuing the activities for the celebration of 200 years since the birth of Giuseppe Verdi with I Masnadieri, programmed from 18 to 26 January.
