Henri Rousseau owes its nickname "the customs officer" to the long period spent as told in the duty Office of Paris, jobs that will accompany him until 1893 and will be the time and place where to get his wish to become a painter and characterize its identity in the world.
His brief but intense artistic activity is unmatched in the art of the late 19th century and the period of the avant-garde.

Until 12 April, at "Casa dei Tre Oci", it will be showed a photograph exposition concerning the colors and the origin of venetian tradition. The shows will be developed with different themes in a captivate set-up, a visual itinerary through the floors of the house. 

From 31 January to 17 February Venice paints itself with colors, music, dances and masks for the Carnival.

Jackson Pollock - Viaggio all'interno della materia" celebrates the homecoming of the masterpiece "Alchemy" by Jackson Pollock to Peggy Guggenheim Collection, after a restoring year in Florence. The exhibit will be opened until 6 April 2015. 

On 9th February 2015 the Glass Museum, located in the island of Murano in Venice, is reopening to the public after a short period due to renovation.

The museum was born in 1861 on initiative of Antonio Colleoni and Vincenzo Zanetti, major and abbot of the island, who wanted to create a place where the citizens could find tokens of their identity, historical and artistic, after the long period of decay due to the fall of the Venice Republic.

From 13 February to April 12, 2015, the Italian and international audience can admire by Palazzo Franchetti, 50 masterpieces of the future Moscow Museum, "Wide Eyes Open" indeed is a preview of a new Grand Museum in Moscow, the Russian Impressionism that will be opened in the Russian capital next autumn
