Manet
Until August 18, 2013, in the halls of Palazzo Ducale, there will be exposed eighty paintings by Manet, drawings and engravings, in collaboration with the Orsay Museum in Paris.

Monet's works were greatly influenced by the Italian Renaissance painting, and in particular by the Venetian, from Titian to Tintoretto. the exhibition is born from the need to deepen this relationship. Studies on Manet have always focused on its ties with Velasquez and Goya, but never considered his relationship with Italy and Venice. This relationship is thread of this exposition.

The exibithion, just because of this different reading of Manet's masterpieces, is proposed as a real event!
