After last year’s success, between 11-29 Mai at the Fenice Theatre returns on stage ‘La Bohème’ by Giacomo Puccini, lyric scenes in four acts based on the Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica’s libretto inspired by Henri Murger’s novel ‘Scènes de la vie de bohème’.
‘La Bohème’ is one of the most famous Italian operas ever and despite the fact that its setting is in Paris, it represents an important trend of the Italian post-unification culture.
It is directed by Francesco Micheli, the conductor is Daniele Callegari, the scenes are by Edoardo Sanchi and the costumes by Silvia Aymonino.

1000, in Venice, the Ascension Day is Festa della Sensa; a special date when
the city celebrates its relation with the lagoon and whose climax is the sea
wedding, the ritual in which the doge, throwing away a ring in the sea from
Bucintoro, was renewing the eternal relationship between The Serenissima and
the sea.

goes on the stage for the opera lovers "La Sonnambula" (The Sleepwalker) an
opera semiseria with music by Vincenzo Bellini to an Italian libretto by Felice
Romani.
Until July
15th in the beautiful location of the Giudecca Island there will be
the exhibition “Personal Best”, held at the “Casa dei Tre Oci” and promoted by
Fondazione di Venezia, is dedicated to the photographer Elliot Erwing.
