Urs Fischer: Madame Fisscher at Palazzo Grassi

In Madame Fisscher the artist expresses himself throughout expressive tecniques and eterogenous materials, choosing a rather complex visual register and finding unstable equilibrium of a meaning never entirely defined; like Madame Fisscher, the work that gives the exhibition's title and that from the very beginning of the expositive path disorients the spectatore intoducing the logic of movement's open-endedness.

 

Comprehensive selection of more than 30 works from numerous international exhibitions, an expositive  space of 2000 square meters offered by Palazzo Grassi. Also related by a sculptural project in public spaces of the city led by the students of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia.

The artistic characteristics of Fischer resides in use everyday objects and transform the way, combining illusion and reality, violence and hilarity, reasonableness and absurdity.
