REGATA STORICA 2023

The Regata Storica, scheduled for September 3rd 2023, is the most important race in the discipline of rowing at the Veneta. It takes place mainly along the Grand Canal and is one of the most spectacular and picturesque events in Venice.

This race is divided into two phases: the Historical Parade and the Competitive Regattas.

The parade opens the event and consists of dozens of Venetian boats that parade through the Grand Canal among the applause of Venetians and tourists.

The races instead make up the competitive part of the event and the winners are considered true champions. During the event you can attend various races depending on age, gender and type of boat, and the most followed is certainly the regatta of Gondolini.
