Napoleone Martinuzzi. Venini 1925-1931
Martinuzzi created wonderful objects during the period in which collaborated with Venini, objects inspired by the classical nature of the shape but in the same time innovative objects thanks to the glass work techniques. The exhibition chronologically travel through all of his works: from the elegant transparent blown to the works of opaque tissue, from the experiments with thick bubbles glass to the the ones using opaque intensely colored glass.
The approximately 200 work in exhibition, unique pieces of the highest quality, represent the most significant achievements that the inventiveness of Martinuzzi brought to the glassmaker, with works that were exposed in the Art Biennale in 1926 and 1930, while others were created for Vittoriale by Gabriele D'Annunzio.
