The illusion of light

The route, full of surprises for the visitor, to invent freely its own path between the polarities of black and white, day and night, went straight into the multitude of synonyms of the word "light".

Those who enter to Palazzo Grassi is welcomed by the incredible artwork of Doug Wheeler, that gives the title to this event. A thick fog of light envelops the guest making him momentarily lose every landmark, into believing that they are in a space made only of light.

Once accustomed to the eye, you realize that it's a suspended structure, which transforms the light into a veil that can cancel the space and its contents.
The halls and salons are a series of incredible work: from the atomic cloud of Conner, the bulb by Whitman to the candle lit in Muntadas Opera.
