Christmas in the heart of Venice 2019

The Christmas atmosphere makes this period special, especially in Venice, where everything takes on a new look, the "calli", bridges and the welcome of the city is even more magical. A festive atmosphere lights up along with the lights and decorations, which are reflected on the waters of the Grand Canal and the "Rii", all this is synonymous with exclusivity. A beautiful and large Christmas tree is lit up in Piazza San Marco, ideal for a nice romantic photo.

Many events are organized during this period, throughout the historic center.

From December 7th to February 25th a beautiful ice skating rink is installed in Campo San Polo, where children and adults can have fun, in company, with family or as a couple. It is possible to rent skates or use your own equipment. For non-residents entry and hire of skates costs 12 euros for adults and for children up to 10 years, 7 euros.

In this period you can attend beautiful shows and concerts, such as those organized at the "La Fenice" theater or at the "Teatro Goldoni", or in Piazza San Marco or in the churches.

A beautiful water procession is also organized, the Christmas markets are in the various "Campi" of the historic center.
