A unique and comprehensive retrospective that recall a prosperous and optimistic Italy, caught in the midst of the economic boom of the "wonderful" years ' 50 and ' 60.

Produced in collaboration with the foundation of Rome, Capogrossi Archive under the high patronage of the President of the Republic and with the patronage of Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali, the exhibition reconstructs the artistic career of Giuseppe Capogrossi (1900 – 1972), with over seventy works, including paintings and works on paper, ranging from the 30 's masterpieces, with canvases like The Canottieri (1933), La Tempesta (1933), La piena sul Tevere (1933), the large sizes of 60 's, including Superficie 399 (1961) and Superficie 449 (1962).

The works on display come from private collections and major museums, including the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna in Rome, the Mart in Rovereto, the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Turin, in addition to the Solomon r. Guggenheim Museum in New York.

The exhibition will be open until February 10, 2013.

Tickets Adult: 12 €
Seniors over 65 years old: 10 €
Students up to 26 years: 7 € (beyond compulsory schooling with a valid student card)
Children up to 10 years, members: free
