THEMES & VARIATIONS. SCRIPT AND SPACE

The museum Guggenheim is offering visitors the possibility of admiring a series of works displayed in the guise of a dialog amongst contemporary collections and monographic exhibitions centred on the ideas of “Script & Space”.
Masterpieces of the 20th century will, therefore, be put side to side with post-WWII works to generate a confrontation on the evolution of expressive marks.

In particular, the exhibitions will examine the features of script and space ranging from collage in Cubism to more enigmatic realizations, through the outputs of abstract expressionism.

The exhibition closes with a homage to Gastone Novelli , among the major Italian artists between the 50s and the 60s.

The exhibition will be open to the public from October 15th to January 1st.
