Roberto Capucci fashion design at Palazzo Fortuny
The Fondazione Musei Civici of Venice pays a tribute to Roberto Capucci with an exhibition of thirty sculpture-dresses, realized between 1978 and 2009, that describes the evolution of his artistic work.
The dresses will be presented with the sculpture-jewels of Vhernier, partner of the project, who will perform his works on the first floor of the museum. Both the dresses of Capucci and the jewels of Vhernier are the result of an investigation on forms and colours inspired by nature, art, geometry and architecture.
The exhibition is realized with the collaboration of the Fondazione Roberto Capucci and with the technical contribution of di Bonaveri, Bolliger, Rado, Veneta Artigianale. The fabric of the red wedding dress was donated by Corsil Tessitura Serica, Montofarno (Como).
Curated by Daniela Ferretti, Enrico Minio and Milly Passigli.
