Curated by Massimiliano Gioni, the exhibition brushes the dream of an universal and total knowledge that crosses the art and the humankind history, combining all those figures that have always tried to build a world's image able to synthesize the infinite variety of richness.
Besides the Giardini, where you can visit the the national pavilions, and the Arsenale, where takes place the collective exhibition, the Biennale is present in the whole city, in different places and in different wonderful venetian palaces that are hosting over 75 national participations, 47 collateral official events and an artistic ferment that for six months involves that entire city.
