55. Biennale d'Arte 2013

The 55° Venice Biennale officially opened to the public on June 1st 2013. This year the curator is Massimiliano Gioni, a young art critic.

As usual the show takes place at the Giardini and in the Arsenale. This year the Exposition  looks like a labyrinth of ideas and emotions, a temporary Museum which investigates the ways in which the movie posters are used to organize knowledge.

The leitmotif is the imaginary and immagintion, without distinction between professionals and amateurs, without historical boundaries and without distinction between insider and outsider. The title chosen for this edition is in fact Encyclopedic Palace.

The exhibition is organized in such a way as to leave the visitors the freedom to build a path of personal and unique reading.
