1st Photografic Marathon
The Effemme Association - Photo connoisseurs of Mestre, organizes the first Photografic Marathon “Città di Venezia” 2011.
The manifestation will run in Venice on Sunday May 15th 2011 with departure from the square in front of the Train Station Santa Lucia from 10:00 am.
Are planed 3 halts where will be given 2 themes each time: 6 hours and 6 themes to conclude: the challenge is this one!
At the arrival every participant will present the 6 pictures chosen for the competition: will win the Marathon who developed the themes better than everyone; he will be recompensed also the best photo of every theme.
The winner photos and a selection of the bests, will be exposed in a exhibit opened to the public who will be inaugurated on Saturday June 11th 2011.
The pre inscriptions can be already done on the appropriate website dedicated to the manifestation: www.maratonafotograficavenezia.it. It will be possible to join the marathon also the same day from 07:30 to 09:30 and not after; in this case, the Association doesn’t guarantee the participation.
The rates for the inscriptions are:
- 20 euro
- 10 euro for Effemme partners and minors
The payment may be done the day of the Photografic Marathon before the time of departure.
PRIZES:
- First Award to the person who will developed the 6 themes better: One reflex digital Nikon D3100 kit.
- First Award to each best picture of each theme: One compact digital camera.
Others prizes, as photographic material, will be given to second and third classified, plus other prizes decided by the Jury.
All the prizes are convertible in vouchers in the photomarket shops of Mestre, sponsor of the manifestation.
Do not lose an unique occasion to spend a day of fun discovering a wonderful city looking at her with different eyes than the usual tourist. It’s also a way to divide with other photo connoisseurs the same passion. For this we invite you to invite also all your friends.
