After the success of last year edition, the event Salone del Volo - Festival dell’Aria comes back in Venice. It will take place from the 25th to 27th of September 2009 at Nicelli Airport Lido di Venezia, which was recently restored and it is an historical place for the national aviation.
After the success of last year edition Veleziana is back: a sail-boat race starting from the Adriatic sea in front of Hotel Des Bains in Venice Lido beach and arriving in Saint Mark's basin. The appointment is on September 13th to see Venice dressed with sails.
From August 7th to September 26th some of the most suggestive locations of Venice Lido will hosts 8 high quality concerts organized by Accademia Musicale Italiana that will propose music by Vivaldi, Bach, Monteverdi, Scarlatti, Paolucci, Giuliani, Carulli, Darras and by some anonimous composers of XIV century.
For the 15th edition of Teatro in campo
campo Pisani and the garden of SS.Cosma and Damiano in Giudecca will be
transformed in open air theatres where classical pieces will be
performed in an original way.
On Saturday July 25th at 8.30pm the La Fenice Opera House will host the Roberto Bolle & Firends, a dance gala in favour of FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano - the National Trust for Italy) to collect founds for the Foundation whose mission is to protect, preserve and valorise the Italian artistic and environmental heritage.
