It will be hosted in the charming rooms of the Palazzo Grimani in Santa Maria Formosa from July 3rd to November 27th 2011 and will be presented by Vittorio Sgarbi, the curator of the above mentioned Pavilion.

Female bodies in pose is all along a topic of huge influence for Fausto Pirandello: mellow colors, instrumental to the condition of being "alone with themselves," to have a lived body as punishment.

The exhibition, made up by more than twenty paintings, including six unpublished works, shows the impetuous and tortured bodies of Pirandello’s models.
Therefore, it will a unique opportunity to see "Naked in the outlook", "Composition with yellow socks and bare" and "Nude on a white background".

It’s also enclosed an interesting educational unit with video and photographs that compares the works of Fausto Pirandello with those of Lucian Freud: an ideal pictorial parallelism between the son of Luigi Pirandello, playwright of personality disorders and the grandson of Sigmund Freud, the father of psychoanalysis and interpreter of the human disturbances.
