tramedimoda_11At Palazzo Mocenigo in Venice, until the 16th of January 2013, will be held an amazing exhibition called "Fashion Textures - Women and style at the Film Festival in Venice."

In a perfect context , through the halls of Palazzo Mocenigo you can admire over 70 items of clothing from famous collections, famous costume designers from all over the world and also from the major fashion maison, making a comparison between the fashion (clothes, style etc) of other times used in some of the greatest movies filmed in Venice, and the current one.

All this is of course strictly related to the Venice Film Festival, where, thanks to this event and 2 Italian fashion houses, it was possible to bring back to “life” two items very hard to find: the beaver coat of cashmere original from the seventies, worn by Florinda Balkan in the “Anonimo Veneziano”  and the red suede mules worn by Katharine Hepburn in “Tempo d’Estate

The items exposed were chosen and selected also with the help of some world famous costume designers, as Colleen Atwood and Ann Roth, who made available for the success of the event, some of their items from their personal archives.
