Palazzo Mocenigo: Fashion and Perfumes

Palazzo Mocenigo opened again to the public (the opening has been the 1st November 2013) with a completely new proposal, thanks also to the help of Pier Luigi Pizzi.
Thanks to the restoration many elements, furnitures, frescos and decoration of this wonderful building can be admired again by everybody.

The new exposition not only give you the chance to admire ancient drapes and clothes from '700, but also many other objects! This has been possible thanks to the collaboration of other venetians museums of Fondazione Musei Civici Veneziani.

The main exposition if at the Piano Nobile, with 20 different rooms. At the second floor you will find White Cube, a collection of studies and show connected to the past and future of Fashion.more-->

Another new thing will be the section dedicated to the perfumes. This part of the exposition is connected to the history of Venice. During the '400 the Serenissima Republic started and developed (first in Europe!!!) a very big and prosperous trade of scents. There's no better city than Venice for this part of the exposition!!!

The museum, close to San Stae water bus stop (Venice), is open from 10 to 16, closed on Monday.
