From July 27 to August 2 2009 there will be the second edition of the Venice Jazz Festival, a music festival organized by Veneto Jazz in collaboration with Regione del Veneto and the City of Venice and destined to become the most important event of Jazz world.

This summer St.Mark's Square, the finest "living room" in Europe, will host music and dance shows. Big names of Italian and International music will perform in this beautiful framework: Massimo Ranieri, Paolo Conte, Andrea Bocelli, Leonard Cohen and the Scottish band Simple Minds.

On display at Palazzo Fortuny from June 6th to November 15th In-finitum the last exhibition of the trilogy started with Artempo: Where Time
Becomes Art (Venice, 2007) and continued with Academia: Qui es-tu?
(Paris, 2008).

Collection pay tribute to one of the biggest artist of american art of 50's,  Robert Rauschenberg, with an exhibition from May 30 to September 20 where the series Gluts will be presented to the public.

The 53rd International Art Exhibition, entitled Fare Mondi // Making Worlds will open to the public from Sunday June 7th to Sunday November 22nd 2009
in the Giardini (50,000 sq.m.) and the Arsenale (38,000 sq.m.)  as
well as in various other locations around the city.

In the Church of San Bartolomeo (San Salvador’s parish), the Exposure of the Goldsmith’s Art reopens: “Between Faith and Devotion”. The works (a total of 22) have been completely restored and date back to different periods between 1300 and 1800.
