From February 19 to March 8, Venice will be absorbed by Carnival . This year’s edition will be extended with one extra weekend and will be dedicated to “Ottocento” Nineteenth century, to hisromantic suggestions and to Risorgimento impulses.


From January 29th
, Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice will host a unique event in Italy: for the first time an exhibition will present works by Vorticism, a London-based movement born at the beginning of XX century. On display paintings, sculptures, works on paper,  photographs by artists such as Percy Wyndham Lewis, Edward Wadsworth e Henri Gaudier-Brzeska.

Venice celebrates Hieronymous Bosch, the fifteent-century Netherlandish painter, visionary artist, famous for his  use of fantastic imagery to illustrate moral and religious concepts and narratives. Three of his works are exposed until march 20th at Palazzo Grimani. Don’t miss the occasion, come admire the king of nightmare.


It will be on at the Spazio Thetis in Venice from the 15th December the exhibition “Brezza. The Beautiful Wind” born from the collaboration with “Il Luogo della Natura” in Bolognano. The event is the result of an artistic project that puts together Exhibition, Conference and Concert, resulting in one of the most prestigious events of the year.


Giambattista Piranesi is mostly known to the public for his etchings, less for being also an architect, an antiquarian, a vedutista and a designer. This is the reason why the architect Michele De Lucchi has conceived the exhibition “The Arts of Giambattista Piranesi”, that celebrates the thousand of talents of the Venetian artist.


As of the 6th December it is possible to visit the exhibition “Rome” at the Ikona International School of Photography. This exhibition includes a collection of works by Giorgio Cutini and represents not only the history of the city, but also the artist’s poetics, who has always declared to be interested in Nothing.
