The Church of San Zan Degolà (St. Johan The Beheaded) can be found in one of the quietest corners of the city, way far from the standard itinerary and totally forgotten by the mass of tourists.

It is friendly called Church of Tolentini, it’ s on the Santa Croce Sestiere facing the homonymous square, few steps from Piazzale Roma and the Papadopoli Gardens.

Ca’ Pesaro is one of the best baroque place in Venice facing the Grand Canal, commissioned by Pesaro Family to Baldassarre Longhena in 600. 

Chiesa di San Stae

Sant Stae is a popular nickname of the Saint to whom is dedicated: Saint Eustacchio and martyrs. It is situated on the Sestiere of Santa Croce in front of the Grand Canal.

To be precise the Church is entitled to San Simeon Profeta, San Simeon Grande is a popular nickname it is situated on the sestiere of Santa Croce and it has been founded in 967 by Ghisi, Adoldi e Briosi.

Rialto and its Market - Venice

The Rialto Bridge is the first one built across the Grand Canal. In the beginning it was a wooden drawbridge to permit sailing ships to sail from St. Marks Basin to Piazzale Roma area.
