From 13th September to 24th October 2009 will take place the 15th edition of The places of Baldassare Galuppi, a music festival which offers the opportunity to listen to classical concerts in many different places of Venice and its surroundings.

Among the traditional locations such as churches, museums and venetian palaces, concerts will also take place in new locations as the Sanctuary of the Madonna dell’Apparizione on the island of Pellestrina and the Hotel Ausonia and Hungaria, which will offer the perfect location to listen to music dedicated to the Liberty style’s years.

The 2009 edition will celebrate the centenaries of Purcell, Handel, Haydn and Mendelssohn, but there will be also many concerts dedicated to the Venetian musician Galuppi.
