65th Venice Film Festival
The 65th Venice International Film Festival, organised by the Venice Biennale and directed by Marco Muller, runs 27th August to 6th September 2008.
The line-up of the 65th Venice Film Festival includes the following sections: Venezia 65, Out of Competition, Orizzonti and Corto Cortissimo.
The retrospective screenings and restorations is dedicated to the italian cinema: These Phantoms: Italian Cinema Rediscovered (1946-1975).
During the exhibition will be presented the restored version of Yuppi Du (1975) directed by Adriano Celentano.
The Leone d'Oro goes to the career of Ermanno Olmi.
