Venice and its door on the mainland: the "Sestiere di Santa Croce"
Discover Cannaregio District

As of the 6th December it is possible to visit the exhibition “Rome” at the Ikona International School of Photography. This exhibition includes a collection of works by Giorgio Cutini and represents not only the history of the city, but also the artist’s poetics, who has always declared to be interested in Nothing.
This is the way the poetics of light begins, and the light becomes the
protagonist of every situation, while the narration, the social protest,
the documentary, all aims of every time photography, lie in the dark.
Thus Cutini’s photography becomes art, just simple representation of a
concept, emptied of every collateral message and turn into poetry.
Giorgio Cutini is a surgeon specialized in new technologies and
photography is just one of his passions. The exhibition is open till the
9th January 2011.
