Until October 30th the exhibition "Mysteries of Sotoportego", staged on the first floor of the monumental Scuola Grande della Misericordia, will be open to the public.
20 large-scale works linked by the same theme, the sotoportego, a particular Venetian architecture with covered walkways and opened arcades in private buildings.

The works are accompanied by ten short stories written for the occasion by Alberto Toso Fei, an expert on Venetian history and mysteries.

During his stay in Venice, which lasted about 3 years, Pierre Casè has recorded more than 250 sotoporteghi, and then thanks to the book of Giuseppe Tassini "Venetian Curiosity," he found out the story of these small and picturesque Venetian galleries.
