Handle with Care
New exhibition by Alice Olimpia Attanasio, talented young artist rewarded by the Giudecca 795 Art Gallery at Laguna Art Award 2011 (Under 25). He also took part in OPEN, International Exhibition of Sculptures and Installations.
The exhibition focuses
on the concept of fertility as a source of salvation in a degraded society, portraying pregnant women in the silent drama of daily surprises:
the sick, the prostitute, the working, the quake
become new icons for
essential social redemption.
The four large-format photographs
are shots that constantly
live in a surreal
figurative phase. His sincerity is expressive,
repetition of thoughts, modern poetry.
