Grape Must Festival 2009
Don't miss one of the most popular feast of the lagoon which take place in the Island of St. Erasmo: the Grape Must Festival, on Sunday 4th October.
The day-long festival is packed with entertainment and charity fundraising events.
In the morning there will be the thanksgiving Mess attended by the market gardeners and the benediction of the farm wagons, while at 2 p.m. there will be a mascareta regatta of mixed crew starting from the canal opposite the Massimiliana Tower.
The evening sees the traditional public wine-pressing, with a chance to taste the fresh grape juice.
