The 67th Venice International Film Festival will run 1st to 11th September 2010 at Venice Lido. Quentin Tarantino will chair the Jury.

This edition is dedicated to Made in Italy: the total number of Italian films presented is 41,  the retrospective section focuses on Italian comedy (1937-1988) and a tribute will be paid to one of the most extraordinary personalities of Italian cinema, Vittorio Gassman, with a world premiere screening on September 1st (Gassman’s birth day) of "Vittorio racconta Gassman, una vita da Mattatore", a “film-confession by Vittorio Gassman” produced by Giancarlo Scarchilli with the collaboration of Alessandro Gassman.

The official line-up of the 67th Festival includes the following sections:

• Venice 67: the international competition of feature films, presented as world premieres;
  
  
• Orizzonti: the new trends in world cinema;
  
  
• Controcampo Italiano: the new trends in Italian cinema;
  
  
• Out of Competition: important works by directors already established in previous editions of the Festival.
