As tradition, also this year there will be the  “Su e Zo per i Ponti”, a non competitive walk for everybody scheduled for Sunday 18th April. A prelude of the event is organized the night before the walk.

There are two routes available:
1) main route, which is about 13 km long (8 miles) and crosses 53 bridges (start and arrival at Piazza S. Marco);
2) shorter route for school parties only, which is about 6 km long (3,5 miles) and crosses 26 bridges (start at the Railway station, arrival at Piazza S. Marco).

SATURDAY 17 APRIL
8.30pm    PRELUDE to the SU E ZO PER I PONTI - Piazza San Marco (front of Museo Correr): literary trail, video projections, choral singing and other surprises.

SUNDAY 18 APRIL
08.00 am     Holy Mass of “Su e zo per i ponti” in Basilica San Marco with "Improvvisando" Choir from Conegliano.
09.30 am     Gathering of all folk groups in Piazza San Marco: flag-raising ceremony in the presence of dignitaries
10.00 am     Lighting the beacon
10.00 am     1) Start of Su e Zo per i Ponti from Piazza San Marco (corner of Palazzo Ducale); 2) Start of Su e Zo per i Ponti from the Railway Station (school parties only)
12.30 pm     Folk groups parade in Piazza San Marco: Special prizegiving to the groups
02.00 pm     End of the walk
