The Valentine’s feast is integral part of Venice Carnival that will be celebrated from Feb. 4th to 21st 2012!

This is the most traditional feast for lovers, immerged in the joyful atmosphere of Carnival in the most romantic city of the world.

The proposed program for Feb.14th in Saint Mark’s square includes from 11 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm a parade of masks and animation on the theme LOVE in the contest for the best mask of Carnival 2012.
The organizer will ask the participant to exhibit on the stage, public will vote the winner with the best mask and the most emotional performance.

From 7 pm to 11 pm the feast will reach the apex, Saint’ Mark’s Square will propose to all the attendants the “music of Love”! Everybody could request to dedicate a message to their lover, messages will be showed on the maxi screen in the square itself, it will be possible to go up on stage to dedicate on request a song that has an important meaning for the lover couple.

…..AND THE NON LOVERS FEAST

The most extravagant appointment will be held on Feb 13th 2012 in Saint’ Mark’s Square from 11 am to 4 pm there will be a parade of mask on the theme “ WHO LOOK FOR LOVE  AND WHO REFUSES IT” .
To celebrate a not trusty love, the conquest, and also a smile over and ended love that could take to new meetings.

The real fest of the “non lovers” will start at 7pm to anticipate the appointment with Valentine’s and celebrate who at the moment is not in love or that is looking for someone to love.
The entertainment will interview people in the Square about their stories, in the meantime the live music will be played with intensity, it may be possible that love will come during this special day even for pessimist people !!
