The theme of 2011 Carnival is the 800, the class and the refined elegance that goes along with the ladies of that era.               

In 1800 were made dress which some peculiarity are still in use today.

Women loved wide skirts, held by stiff underskirt that made it even wider, to emphasize the soft feminine way to walk. Tight bodices and corsets to hold the flanks, enriched with laces and bow, the sleeves are tight thanks to the introduction of a new way to saw it around shoulder, precious and elaborated hairdressing to hold the long air in use then. Laces embellished the lingerie, in the evening the neckline was deeper. In the second half  of 1800 from Paris arrived the fashion of the Saddle, that was a different skirt line that enriched the volumes on the back and get flatter on the front.

Men, during the day preferred large trousers, striped, waistcoat and dark ties or bows, in the evening they wear trousers tighter on the bottom (cigarette) a redingote coat tight on the flanks
And a bit lousy on the back, cane, top hat, ties or bows.
